Taulia, Google Cloud

Taulia, a financial accounting tools brand, has announced a partnership with Google Cloud to launch an AI-powered billing solution.

The solution will be launched at Google Cloud Next ‘19. It will display how Taulia’s new solution fights the challenge posed by antiquated workflows that generate a large amount of accounting data in unstructured formats. This requires manual intervention, leads to high administrative burden and ultimately results in a delay of critical payments. Cognitive Invoicing allows enterprises to process invoices in any file format from their suppliers successfully. The solution leverages the optical character recognition capabilities of Google Cloud’s Document Understanding AI to read supplier invoice data in Taulia invoicing platform.

“Using AI, we have finally cracked the intractable invoice processing issues that many businesses face. We are now able to fully realize our vision of enabling buyers and suppliers to exchange information freely,” says Brady Cale, CTO of Taulia.

“Enterprises are looking for easy, scalable solutions to extract deep insights from their unstructured content and documents,” added Pallab Deb, Head of ML Tech Partners at Google.
