Acquia, a SaaS company that provides enterprise products, services, and technical support for the open-source web content management platform Drupal announced new capabilities for Acquia Cloud.

This step by the company strengthens its innovation in security and compliance. By adding these new tools, it will help avoid risk according to the updated compliances as per the U.S. federal standards. These updates expand the security services available on a cloud platform for Drupal deployments.

The cloud-native platform enables customers to build and manage Drupal-based digital experiences, freeing staff to innovate on every channel, engage customers, and grow their brands.

“These new capabilities for Acquia Cloud empower our customers with insightful governance by providing foundational security principles directly to our customers,” said Joseph Janik, a Chief Information Security Officer at Acquia. “Built on AWS’ platform, these innovations provide deeper insights into hosted applications along with a comprehensive set of security capabilities,” added Janik.
