Zoom Buys Identity Service Keybase to Build End-to-end Encryption

Videoconferencing app Zoom has announced the acquisition of end-to-end encryption service, Keybase. The financial terms of this deal are not yet disclosed. Max Krohn, Keybase founder will lead the Zoom security, engineering team. Meanwhile, leaders from Zoom and Keybase will work together to determine the future of the Keybase product.

Qualys Announces General Availability of Qualys Cloud Agent on Google Cloud

The acquisition comes from Zoom intending to give customers a higher level of security. Zoom has come under the scanner over security issues for the past few months.
