Cybersecurity collaborative workspace provider Balance Theory has announced it has raised USD 3 million as part of a seed funding round led by DataTribe.
For security teams, the company has created a collaboration tool. The announcement comes at a time when enterprise risk has significantly increased due to collaboration apps. The solution from Balance Theory offers users a secure, encrypted platform with classification and redaction tools to manage security workflows, processes, technical documentation, and playbooks in one place.

According to the company, this gives board members, auditors, new hires, and vendors a top-down view of the security team’s defenses. It also integrates with currently available collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams and Slack.
