Search and discovery API provider Algolia last week announced that retailer Walgreens has joined its customer base and will use the solution next to the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform to help improve search experience for its customers.
Algolia’s API is integrated with the previous Walgreens custom architecture to provide an AI-driven search solution that can analyze users’ search terms, predict their purpose, and deliver multiple search results. The aim is to drive omnichannel browsing information that enables customers to find the goods they want in a short amount of time.
The provider Is part of a business search market, an estimated $ 3.8 billion by 2020 and is expected to reach $ 8 billion by 2027 as technology decision makers seek new solutions to improve search experience for local customers.
