VMware has announced the release of advanced workload protection for AWS to help give AWS customers better visibility over on-premises and cloud environments in an effort to provide organizations with more assistance in maintaining their cloud security.
A next-generation antivirus (NGAV) will be included in the newly released VMware Carbon Black Workload to analyze the behavior patterns of attackers and provide endpoint detection and response capabilities. This will enable VMware Carbon Black Workload to automatically gather and list vulnerabilities in AWS environments.
According to VMware, VMware Carbon Black Workload will assist AWS customers in better securing cloud workloads by allowing security teams to see workloads that are ephemeral and transient in nature.
