VMware, Nvidia team up on AI-powered hybrid cloud platform

VMware led to the development of IT 20 years ago and permanently changed the way business systems work by making workloads easier and more manageable. Now Palo Alto, California.-based giant – reports estimate that 95% of all IT departments have at least one VMware product – are entering a new phase of dynamic AI development for next-generation infrastructure.

To make the move, VMWare has partnered with Nvidia, the processor maker with a market share of 80% graphics processing unit (GPU). Nividia has become the most successful chip maker to use AI in silicon, thanks to its long history of making game chips.
