Vianova SAS has raised USD 6.4 million in funding to develop a specialized data analytics platform for shared mobility providers and municipalities.
According to TechCrunch, Baloise Holding AG’s venture capital division led the Series A investment. Ponooc, RATP Capital Innovation, and XAnge also took part. Vianova, a company based in Paris, offers a software platform that enables shared mobility service providers, like ride-hailing startups, to keep track of their fleets of vehicles.

With the help of the startup’s platform, businesses can find and relocate any vehicles that may be parked against the rules of the city. The company claims that municipalities can use its platform to check that shared mobility fleets abide by local laws.
