Verizon has announced the acquisition of video communication platform BlueJeans. It is a cloud-based video conferencing service that competes with platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. BlueJeans will expand the range of services within Verizon’s B2B ecosystem. Verizon is expected to integrate BlueJeans into broader enterprise services.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, however, as per the Wall Street Journal, the deal is expected to be worth less than $500 million.
