Technology company VAST Data, which specializes in all-flash enterprise data storage, today announced the launch of VAST Data Platform, a unified new data computing platform for the age of AI, as part of the company’s expansion of its offerings.
The platform, which is already available, combines storage, database, and virtualized compute engine services in a scalable system to support new deep learning applications and help businesses move beyond conventional reporting and business intelligence.
The exabyte-scale DataStore, according to the company, serves as a scalable storage architecture that collects and serves unstructured natural data without the use of storage tiering.
