Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.com Inc has stated that he would certainly like to provide all support to the U.S. Department of Defense for more defense contracts that will drive Pentagon’s modernization plans. “We are going to support the Department of Defense, this country is important,” Bezos said at an annual defense forum at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California.

Their contention was that this usage went against ‘Google’s stated goal of doing no harm’ and believed that a nascent artificial intelligence technology in lethal situations could be risky to civilian populations.
