Universal Health Services Reconnecting its IT network Post Attack

Universal Health Services, the hospital operator, has recently announced that it is going to reconnecting its IT network. This is followed by a cyberattack that prompted it to close down its network to some extent a week ago.

As mentioned by the company, they are “pleased to confirm substantial progress toward restoration of online operations”. Besides, more than half of the Acute Care hospitals are scheduled to be live or live since Monday.

The organization operates around 400 health care and hospitals spanning the US and the UK. This time, their UK operations were unaffected – confirmed the Universal Health Services.
