UK’s major political parties have been hit by back-to-back cyber attacks, reports Reuters. Hackers attempted to attack the Conservative Government and the opposition Labour Party with websites by flooding them with malicious traffic. The Labour Party told Reuters that the attack was repelled and no data was compromised.
The latest cyber attack comes just weeks ahead of a national election. The Labour party said its security systems ensured there was no data breach.
