UK Seeks for Huawei Alternatives in 5G from Japan

The UK government has recently asked Japan to help it build the 5G wireless networks
devoid of Huawei Technologies. This is probably an extra step in the global technology and
security war among the US and China.

As the potential alternative suppliers to Huawei, Britain has chosen NEC Corp. and Fujitsu
Ltd. – reported Nikkei. The UK administration met with the counterparts in Tokyo recently,
two days right after the order of Huawei equipment purged from 5G networks by 2027.

Reportedly, the fears over the security terms of Huawei have pushed Boris Johnson to
choose between the US and China.
