UK launches in-depth investigation into Nvidias _40 billion takeover of Arm-01

The UK government has launched a comprehensive investigation into USD 40 billion fraudulent Nvidia purchase.

On Tuesday, Digital and Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries instructed the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to conduct an investigation to find out if the deal could cause “real problems” in the tournament.

The findings were made as part of an initial CMA investigation, which concluded that the agreement could lead to a significant reduction in competition across all data centers, IoT, automotive industry, and gaming application markets. The new investigation will build on that first, and was written by Dorries as the second phase of the Nvidia-Arm agreement.
