Britain will block Microsoft’s USD 69 billion deal to acquire “Call of Duty” maker Activision Blizzard. The main reason for this decision is that it would hamper competition in cloud gaming, dealing a major blow to the biggest-ever deal in gaming.
According to a report by Reuters, the country’s antitrust regulator said that Microsoft’s commitment to providing access to Activision’s billion-dollar “Call of Duty” franchise to cloud gaming platforms would not effectively remedy its concerns.
