U.S. Officials Urge Canada to Avoid Using Huawei’s 5G Technology

The U.S. national security adviser has urged Canada to avoid using Huawei’s 5G technology, reports Reuters. The official stated that it would put intelligence sharing with the US in jeopardy and expose Canadians to the Chinese government.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau postponed a decision on whether to use Huawei Technologies Co Ltd HWT.UL 5G network equipment until after the October federal election.
