The antitrust subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee is expected to release the much-anticipated report probing into the antitrust allegations against America’s top 4 largest tech companies on Monday.
The chief executives of all these four tech companies, Facebook Inc, Apple, Amazon.com Inc, and Alphabet’s Google, testified in front of the panel in July.
During this hearing, the four CEOs deflected a range of accusations that they crippled smaller rivals in their struggle for market share. The four firms have a combined market value of around $5 trillion.
The House antitrust subcommittee has plans to hold a hearing on proposals to strengthen antitrust laws and restore the lost online competition as the release of this long-awaited report on Big Tech is soon to come.
