Following the billionaire’s decision to withdraw from a USD 44 billion purchase of the social media network, Elon Musk and Twitter seem headed for a prolonged judicial fight.
The two sides are headed to court after Elon Musk tried to back out of his USD 44 billion acquisition of Twitter Inc. and the company vowed to make him carry it out. The business claims it will take legal action and that a complaint will be filed, claiming that the defendant must complete the agreed-upon transaction. Musk filed a motion to end the agreement on Friday, claiming that Twitter had broken their contract, according to Mike Ringler, a lawyer for Musk at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
According to Mr. Musk, the corporation may have overstated the number of spam accounts on its platform, failed to give his team all the information they needed, including the data they needed to investigate the problem, and removed executives and made other unauthorized changes to its operations.
