Toshiba Corporation has announced that it will split into three private companies – Infrastructure Service Co, Device Co, and Toshiba – in the hope that it will help bring about sustainable profit growth and improve the value and trust of shareholders.

The company explained Infrastructure Service Co will include Toshiba’s energy plans, infrastructure plans, building solutions, and digital solutions businesses.

Its products and services will include IT solutions for government agencies and private companies, power generation, distribution and distribution, renewable energy, energy management, solutions for public infrastructure programs, trains and industries, and building energy-saving solutions.
