Oracle and Microsoft plan to team up in order to help TIM Brasil, Brazil’s telecom provider, to move all of its on-premises workloads to the cloud. The migration will make TIM Brasil the first telecommunications company in the country that has moved entirely to the cloud.
While migrating to the cloud, TIM Brasil will leverage the forthcoming Oracle-Microsoft Azure Interconnect in Vinhedo, Brazil, which is a part of Oracle’s growing portfolio of multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud initiatives.
With the interconnect, TIM Brasil will drive critical workloads on OCI’s Oracle VMware Service., Oracle Exadata Cloud Service, and Oracle Database Cloud Service.
