Thoma Bravo has entered into an agreement to acquire Magnet Forensics Inc., a publicly traded Canadian developer of digital forensic software, for USD 1.3 billion (CAD USD 1.8 billion).
Magnet Forensics, a company founded in 2009, creates software tools to help forensic investigators look into cyberattacks and other digital crimes. Case management, incident response, digital forensics, and human resources investigations are the services offered by the business.
The company’s Magnet Axiom Cyber software provides robust digital forensics and incident response for companies that need to conduct remote acquisition and gather and analyze evidence from computers, the cloud, and mobile devices.
