Theator Inc., a start-up using artificial intelligence to advance surgical care, has announced that it has secured USD 24 million in new funding.
The funding was given as an addition to Theator’s USD 15.5 million Series A round, which it had previously announced in February. The startup claims that Insight Partners oversaw both transactions. More than a dozen other backers, including Mayo Clinic, took part in Theator’s most recent USD 15.5 million fund-raise. Theator, founded in Palo Alto, California, offers an AI platform that surgeons may use to examine video of operations and identify methods to raise the standard of care.
According to the business, their platform aids medical teams in numerous ways to improve patient outcomes.
