The US Offers Transparency about New Huawei Curb

The US Department of Commerce finds no loopholes in the new rule focused on crimping
chip sales to Huawei. The law indicated authorities to have licenses for the shipments of
foreign-made chips for the Chinese technology giant. Many industry lawyers see it as highly
complex and puzzled with gaps that allege leave important transactions beyond its range of
controls.

Wilbur Ross, US Commerce Secretary, has recently noted that they will crack down on any
bid to disobey the intent of the curb crackdown on any attempt to defy the intent of the
curb.
