Tetrate Announces Its Tools Will Now Work Natively On Arm-Based Processors

Tetrate, a company that develops software to enable service mesh networks, stated that its solutions would now support Arm’s Neoverse platform. 

Both of Tetrate’s primary tools, Envoy and Istio, now work natively on Arm processors, which are rapidly gaining recognition for their ability to provide lower-cost computing in cloud contexts. Additionally, Tetrate is distributing a hardened version of its code for defence clients. 

Certain government clients are interested in a version of Tetrate’s Istio that supports Kubernetes and other services on various military clouds, such as the Platform One initiative and Iron Bank.
