Telstra and Microsoft to collaborate on IoT_ digital twins_ and cloud

Microsoft and Telstra have announced plans to extend their prolonged partnership, and further collaborate for cloud-based Azure solutions and leverage the same on Telstra Data Hub. The organizations plan to use edge computing, AI, IoT, and digital twin functionalities to create solutions in supply chain management, smart spaces, telematics, and asset tracking.

As part of the collaboration, Telstra will use the Azure cloud platform for the telecom giant’s internal digital transformation process. They are shifting on-premise and legacy applications to cloud-based platforms and solutions. Telstra and Microsoft are planning to develop solutions that boost their climate and sustainability commitments.
