Telecom Italia and Cisco Form a Strategic Partnership in Cloud Business Services

Noovle, Telecom Italia’s cloud business and US technology firm Cisco have announced a partnership to create cloud services for businesses and public administrations, according to a statement.

The decision comes as the Italian government plans to launch a national cloud hub for public administration data, which will be funded with resources from the European Union allocated to aid the country’s recovery from the pandemic.

Italy’s innovation minister stated that the country wants to use cloud technology developed by big global corporations while ensuring that the data is retained locally.
