Telecom Egypt Chooses IBM Hybrid Cloud Solutions

Telecom Egypt (TE), the integrated telecommunications operators, has turned to IBM and Red Hat in order to help the country build an open, hybrid cloud strategy. This will help in modernizing their cloud operations while accelerating their digital transformation journey.

In its essence, TE selects IBM Cloud Pak for automation built on Red Hat OpenShift to prepare efficient, flexible, and future-ready network operations and enable new digital services. By partnering with IBM, the network operator plans to infuse AI in its workflows across various cloud or on-premises environment.

This would help develop an advanced cloud hub in Egypt while delivering the first state-of-the-art data center – with access to various global submarine cable systems that land in Egypt.
