The latest study from Salary.com reveals employers will rehire 90% of people that have been laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The report, ‘COVID-19 Compensation and Benefits Impact Survey’ says 65% of employers found the base pay remained unchanged and 45% say they are leaving merit raises in place for 2020.

The report is based on a survey of 1,176 compensation managers across the US and Canada to better understand the impact on salaries caused by the COVID-19 virus outbreak.
