Block storage guru StorPool Storage has announced that, for the first time since the product’s debut a decade ago, it would make its distributed storage software accessible through the AWS Marketplace.

The service, known as StorPool on AWS, provides enterprise customers with specialized demands and large workloads but few alternatives in this sector with a high-performance solution. For business applications that require hyperscale performance, StorPool Storage will offer a version of its block storage platform on AWS.
