The open-source Apache Pinot data analytics platform is being commercialized by StarTree Inc., a business, and it recently revealed that it has raised USD 47 million in fresh funding. Following a USD 24 million Series A investment that StarTree announced in May, the Series B funding round was completed.
The startup’s most recent funding round was headed by GGV Capital, one of the investors from last year. Additional contributors included CRV, Sapphire Ventures, and Bain Capital Ventures.
