Mobility software company Apex.AI, based in Palo Alto, Calif., And Berlin, Stuttgart and Munich, Germany, said it had raised $ 56.5 million in the Series B. funding cycle independent applications.
Leading the charge was the investment company Orillion and was joined by various car dealers and major companies including ZF, Continental AG CLR -2.4% ,, Canaan, AGCO, AGCO + 0.9%, Airbus Ventures, i -Jaguar Land Rover’s InMotion Ventures and others, the company said. Volvo Group Venture Capital, Toyota Ventures and HELLA Ventures were the company’s previous investors.
In line with its investment in Apex.AI, German automotive supplier ZF said it has also taken a 5% stake in the company and will develop software solutions based on Apex OS meta-operating system.
