Robotics firm Soft Robotics has received $23 million in Series B funding from multiple investors. The latest round of funding was led by Calibrate Ventures and Material Impact and includes additional existing investors Honeywell, Hyperplane, Scale, Tekfen Ventures, and Yamaha. This round also brings in FANUC, the world’s largest maker of industrial robots.
The funding will help the company power the next phase of its growth strategy. Soft Robotics focuses on developing robotic grippers. It had secured $5 million in a Series A round closed in 2015.
