Cloud data management firm Snowflake has secured $479 million in funding that was led by Dragoneer Investment Group and joined by Salesforce Ventures. The latest round of funding gives the cloud company a whopping $12.4 billion valuation.

The company has also partnered with Salesforce. Frank Slootman, Snowflake CEO, said the partnership with Salesforce would cover product, marketing, and go-to-market strategy. More details about the Salesforce partnership are expected to be announced in June at Snowflake’s annual user conference.
