Snowflake Launches Supercloud Concept via Snowgrid Cross-Cloud Connectivity


The Supercloud concept is expected to continue gaining traction since simplicity is a crucial concept in companies.

Benoit Dageville, co-founder and president of products at Snowflake, claims that the company is already establishing the foundation for the Supercloud idea by developing a unified system with cloud regions superimposed on top of the cloud provider layer. As a result, the system is not instantiated differently in each Snowflake area.

In a special broadcast on theCUBE, Dageville chatted with theCUBE industry analyst Dave Vellante at Supercloud 22. They spoke about how Snowflake pioneered the idea of super clouds.
