Skype Announces New Zoom Feature

Skype has announced a new zoom-in feature that aims to help users when someone shares a screen with images too small to be seen. Skype users can now zoom in with the mouse or screen controls to adjust the screen size shared. Users can zoom in at will, without interrupting the meeting.

Skype, whose development as a consumer application appears to be undermined by Microsoft’s consumer push with Teams, recently announced that it is “here to stay” with a redesigned interface.

The Skype team also fixed a number of issues, including one that caused it to crash after the calls ended, notification failing to unlock chat on iPhone, and a bug that caused refresh when trying to add money to a non-empty account on Windows devices.
