Singapore Launches Accelerator Programme for Entrepreneurs Interested In Expanding To Sweden

Enterprise Singapore and Business Sweden have launched an initiative to assist Singapore’s start-ups and technology small and medium-sized businesses in expanding their reach into the Nordic countries via Sweden. 

Announcing the Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) acceleration initiative, Enterprise Singapore claimed that it was the first time the programme had been introduced in the Nordic region. Stockholm’s version would be led by Swedish digital accelerator Epicenter, with government agencies Business Sweden and Vinnova providing support. 

Business Sweden is a joint venture between the Swedish government and the Swedish business sector. Its mission is to assist multinational enterprises in entering the Swedish market.
