Second Oracle Cloud Region in France is Now Operational

By establishing a second location in France, Oracle Corp. expanded its cloud footprint in Europe. According to the firm, the addition of the new Oracle Cloud region in La Courneuve, Paris, to the already-existing Oracle Cloud Marseille Region would give local customers easier access to its whole spectrum of cloud services.

With plans to add 14 additional regions globally this year alone, Oracle has spent billions of dollars over the past year to fuel the rapid growth of its cloud infrastructure. The opening of the new Paris area makes Oracle’s presence in Europe nine, including the already established locations in Marseille, Frankfurt, London, Zurich, Amsterdam, Milan, Stockholm, and Newport, Wales.
