SAP Introduces a New Data Marketplace and Planning Capabilities in its Business Technology Platform

SAP recently announced a number of changes to its Business Technology Platform (BTP) at the worldwide keynote for its SAPPHIRE NOW virtual conference, several of which are especially data/analytics focused. These constitute a new Data Marketplace as part of Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC), a novel cloud-based operational workforce planning platform, and a new enterprise planning foundation that serves as the offering’s backbone.

Juergen Mueller, SAP’s Chief Technology Officer, and Executive Board Member defined the DWC Data Marketplace as a platform that allows both partners and customers to be data producers.
