Samsung has announced the acquisition of network service provider TeleWorld Solutions. The acquisition will help Samsung expand its 5G network in the US. Virginia-based TeleWorld Solutions offers wireless networking and consulting service. It specializes in radio frequency and network design services, as well as installation, optimization for equipment OEMs across the US.
Following the acquisition, TeleWorld Solutions will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung. However, the brand will continue to offer its consulting services to existing clients. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Samsung is one of the top 5G players in the US and supplies both Sprint and AT&T with 5G network equipment.
