Rewritten Kata Containers gets significant speed boost

Intel Clear Containers was united with Hyper’s runV by Kata Containers. The main goal was to combine VMs security benefits with the manageability and speed of container technologies. The latest version 2.0, makes it smaller and faster than before. Kata serves security and container isolation sans the overhead of deploying them in a VM. Traditionally containers are run in VMs mainly for security. However, it decreases some of the benefits of containers due to the small resources footprint. These containers are capable of running on bare metal.
