Redis Labs announces the launch of Redis Database 7.0. The company will be disclosing the roadmap for Redis 7.0 – the database pillar of Redis Enterprise, which will be available later in the year.
Expansion of multi-model database support, converged capabilities for managing and deploying AI/machine learning models in-database, and new features supporting greater database stability are among the new features and enhancements.
Another improvement is to strengthen Redis as a multi-model database. Data that is otherwise physically stored in a canonical key-value structure can be readily exposed in various views since Redis runs in memory, and Redis Labs has introduced support for JSON document and graph data in recent years.
