Red Hat takes a significant step forward in protecting its Kubernetes distribution, OpenShift, and other Kubernetes distros too.
StackRox’s software is doing an excellent job of providing visibility across Kubernetes clusters by deploying elements for enforcement and data collection straight into the Kubernetes cluster infrastructure. StackRox has a policy engine that contains hundreds of built-in controls to implement security best practices, configuration management, and industry standards.
With StackRox, Red Hat stated that it would focus on advancing security for cloud-native workloads by increasing and improving Kubernetes’ native controls and moving security into the container build and CI/CD phase.
