Qualcomm Inc. has released a new chip that mobile devices can use to connect to 5G network networks. The 5G chip, called the Snapdragon X70, integrates the modem with the RF front end into a single package.
Qualcomm will begin sampling the X70 from customers next quarter. The company expects that the first powerful X70 mobile devices will be launched by the end of the year.
