Qualcomm Launches IoT-as-a-Service for 30 Different Market Segments-01

Qualcomm is preparing to deliver vertical-specific IoT suites for more than 30 distinct markets. Smart airports, warehouse management, smart retail, traffic management, and other sectors and divisions are among them. This move comes less than a year after announcing the Qualcomm IoT Services Suite.

As a chipmaker, Qualcomm has “touched every segment of IoT, in some way, shape or form. And now we are going beyond. We are going up the stack,” said Sanjeet Pandit, Qualcomm senior director and global head of smart cities.

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 5G connectivity are just a few of the features available in the service suites. Qualcomm has collaborated with industries to identify the software, hardware, and platforms required for IoT initiatives to succeed.
