Mobile and IoT chip giant Qualcomm on Wednesday announced an expansion of its artificial intelligence developer runtime offering, called Qualcomm AI Stack portfolio.
The company claims the new offering will address the “Unique needs of AI for each and every business line” that Qualcomm’s chips serve, including mobile phones, connected infrastructure in Internet of Things installations, and connected vehicles. According to Qualcomm, one objective of the technology is to enable users to modify machine learning’s performance for various parameters.
According to Qualcomm, the updated version of its technology will make it easier to move machine learning models across the wide range of hardware that both Qualcomm and its clients offer.
