Precisely, a data integrity firm, recently reported that it had reached an agreement to buy Infogix, data governance, data catalog, and data consistency provider. The deal’s terms were kept under wraps.
Precisely, which was recently purchased by private equity firms Clearlake Capital Group and TA Associates and rebranded from its decades-old branding, Syncsort, plans to add Infogix’s data governance, data catalog, and data integrity products, as well as its current data services team, to its portfolio of data integrity products.
Dan Barnhardt, VP of Communications and Brand Marketing at Precisely, and Ned Tadic, Public Relations Manager at Precisely, explained that Precisely started in the 1960s as mainframe data movement specialist.
