At Oracle’s JavaOne conference in Las Vegas, the company has debuted the official Java 19 distribution.
The new version incorporates a number of significant improvements to make the lives of developers easier while speeding up some of the complicated server-side tooling so it can benefit from contemporary hardware, particularly the most parallel options. Oracle is pushing a paid option for enterprise customers who are willing to pay for better performance and care, even as it continues to emphasize and support the open-source developer community that has developed around Java.
Customers who choose the Java SE Subscription option receive access to both the GraalVM Enterprise version of the VM and the Java Management Service, a system for keeping track of deployed code.
The platform covers e entire enterprise technology space- including emerging technologies like RPA, AI, cloud, automation, and the entire gamut of digital transformation tools, strategies and management decisions.
