Oracle has recently declared that it will make GoldenGate, its famous real-time data fabric, available as a cloud-native service that is remarkably automated and completely managed. The aim is to bring the service to a bigger market space by making it more economical and accessible for non-technical users.
Oracle claims that the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) GoldenGate service, as a general-purpose, real-time data fabric, goes deeper than most cloud providers’ options for real-time data replication. Amazon Web Services has a more oriented database conversion tool, while Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure need a more hands-on approach from customers.
