Oracle Introduces MySQL Database Service which has Business Analytics Features

As one of the leading tech enterprises in the database atmosphere, Oracle has introduced the cloud-based MySQL database service with a new analytics engine. The new engine can perform transaction processing and business analytics tasks on the same database system.

The new fully managed MySQL Database Service provides a high-performance at a fraction of the cost compared with an alternative system such as Redshift cloud data warehouse and AWS RDS database.

The MySQL database is used for online transaction processing (OLTP) applications, which manages data generated by financial, retail as well as other operational applications that underpin many business processes.
